Stephen D. Mayer is the CFO/Advisor to Golden Gate Global since 2013. Mr. Mayer is currently the CEO of SD Mayer & Associates, LLP (SDM), a full-service accounting, consulting, and wealth management firm.
Prior to founding SDM, he was the Founder and CEO of Burr Pilger Mayer for 25 years, where, under his leadership, the firm grew from five people to over four hundred people.
Mr. Mayer is also a Founder and former Board Member of Presidio Bank, and over the last 25 years, he has served on over 15 non-profit and for-profit boards. He earned an MBA from the Haas School of Business at University of California, Berkeley, and a bachelor’s degree from University of California, Berkeley.
