Cathleen Yao is an Assistant Controller at Golden Gate Global. She supports the accounting team with its efforts for Golden Gate Global and Golden Gate Global-affiliated companies.
Prior to Golden Gate Global, Ms. Yao was a Senior Accountant for Gong Cha USA California, an international beverage brand, where she provided accounting oversight for the franchised chain stores, streamlined accounting procedures, and improved operational efficiency. Prior to that, she worked as an accountant for Nutravative Ingredients Services, a food supplements start-up, where she was responsible for working capital management and preparing financial statements for decisions making.
Ms. Yao earned a master's degree in Finance from University of Texas at Dallas, and a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Guangdong University of Finance & Economics.
She is fluent in English and Mandarin.
